Examining the impact of AI literacy and its antecedents on job performance in the context of South Korea

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effects of personality traits, learning agility, and organizational AI resource support on AI literacy and verifies the mediating role of AI literacy in the relationships between these factors and work performance. The research data were collected via an online survey of 441 employees in South Korea. The results of the study showed that conscientiousness, openness, agreeableness, learning agility, and organizational AI resource support had a positive effect on AI literacy. Furthermore, these factors improved work performance through AI literacy. Based on these results, this study provides useful theoretical and managerial implications.
